Hello World!
Hi, This is Eden. Welcome to our new blog!
Although it is depressingly dark and 10:17 at night, I’m hard at work updating the site, adding new products and getting our backyard, porch and patio ready for winter. Everything is finally clean and ready to be covered. We have some great outdoor furniture covers in the shop. They keep everything clean and neat. I’ve decided to upgrade my patio chair cushions next spring so I got rid of a bunch of the old ones.
This summer was such a bust in terms of the garden. I think we got three cherry tomatoes and 2 cucumbers. The slugs had a field day with my tomatoes, zucchini, pumpkins and melons. I’m thinking about putting some garlic in to winter over in the garden, I haven’t tried that before but I know people who’ve had success. I’m also trying to figure out how to keep my herbs over the winter…we had a dismal garden this year because of all of the rain. The cilantro, thyme and tarragon are about all that survived. Anyone who knows how best to protect the herbs, please write!
